Image
My Modern Kid was so very kind and sent me a few things to review, they are also giving all my viewers a 15% off purchase coupon code and they are hosting a giveaway where the winner will win a $30 gift card to their site! First off, let me say that My Modern Kid has SO many adorable things for your little ones. They have clothes, bibs, swaddles, and more. They carry the latest and most trendy clothes at a super reasonable price point. This was the first thing I opened and of course I was thrilled. This is a matching head band and swaddle set, and it only costs $13.49 and they have so many cute prints! They also sell this cool sleepsacks with matching headbands which are a little easer to put on and they little ones can't get out of them as easily as a regular swaddle.                                                   Next thing was this onesie. Now the one thing I'm not a huge fan of is the fact that the clothes are made and distributed from china

Surya Brasil Nail Polish Review

Image
The  Exotic Animals  Nail Polish collection is inspired by nature's wonderful colors to leave your nails beautiful and healthy. There are many vibrant and bright colors, each one dedicated to a specific exotic animal from all over the world.                                               7-FREE:  NO Camphor NO DBP NO Formaldehyde NO Parabens NO Toluene NO ingredients of animal origin NO animal testing I am a nail polish fanatic, I paint my nails once a week at least. These nail polishes are so nice! These are honestly the longest lasting regular nail polishes I have ever tried, they last about a week and a half for me. And that is saying a lot because I wash my hand countless times for my job. Their colors are bright, vibrant, and they are all free of everything I dislike. I also feel comfortable putting this on little kids which I am very hesitant to do with most other brands of polish. I really recommend these nail polishes. I am excited to order other ite

Chewy.com Review

Image
As all of you know, I am a huge fan of chewy.com. I have yet to find a website like chewy, and no one compares to their prices. The item I received to review is the Blue Buffalo Boo Bars,                                       If you want to know details about what is all in these dog treats, head over to chewy.com :) Blue Buffalo is one of the best brands for giving your pets all the good stuff and none of that fake artificial crap. As mentioned above, Chewy has the absolute best prices. These dog treats are 67% off normal prices on other sites and they have fast 1-2 day shipping and every order of $49 is free. I can not speak highly enough on chewy, they have great products, great prices, great costumer service, everything is great.

What Da Fluff and Review and Giveaway

Image
What Da Fluff is a monthly subscription box for only $15 a month. It lets you pick if you want a girl, boy, or gender neutral box. I received the gender neutral box. My box came with an old style Alva diaper in the color orange with a charcoal bamboo insert. It also came with 2 little pieces of candy, a 9 piece wooden puzzle, a little yellow loofa, a cucumber face mask, and a Sesame Street number write and wipe workbook.                                                  So if I'm being honest Alva isn't my first pick when it comes to diapers but they do work. My biggest issue with them is the fit. They fit bigger babies which is nice for big babies or babies who are at the end of cloth diapering and beginning stages of potty training. I have to use cloth diaper tricks to make them fit smaller babies so often times I just gravitate towards the diapers that fit both small and big babies.  As for everything else... So nice! I love that they put things for momma into each box.

Chewy.com

Image
It's that time again for another Chewy.com review. This month Chewy.com sent me fresh step febreze freshness extreme Hawaiian aloha clumping cat litter to review.  I've used Fresh Step before and liked it but ive always been a bit scared to try to the scented cat litters. I've used a scented litter before and it stunk so bad once the cat peed in the box. It smelled worse than if it wasn't scented.                                       Both my cats used this without any issues. I've had problems in the past with changing litter. They sniffed it a few times then without second thought, used it. I love how this smells so fresh and nice. It turns the stinkiest part of our house into just another room. Now to review Chewy.com. Chewy is such a great site! They offer stuff for all types of pets and at discount rates. They also ship super fast so no worries if you forgot to buy something until last minute and its almost gone. I love that Chewy.com saves me a trip t

Snap-EZ All In One Training Pants

Image
Snap-EZ not only sent me a pair or their All In One Training Pants but they also donated 55 cloth diapers to hurricane victims. They sent 55 of their smallest diapers which Snap-EZ no longer sells. As for the training pants. Snap-EZ Training Pants feature a durable, waterproof outer fabric  with a  "feel wet" cotton velour inner. The visible elastic around the waist and legs is latex free,  super soft and stretchy, allowing these to be pulled off and pulled on much like underwear. These is also have a 4 layer cotton velour soaker sewn inside for good absorbency while remaining nice and trim! The inner Cotton Velour helps your child to know when they are wet, without feeling soaked like flannel and it's oh-so-soft on your child's skin! These have two set of snaps for adjustment for leg and waist.                                      I love how trim these are, often times training pants are thick and make their pants super buldgy and big. Snap-EZ has a very tr

Lil Joey Newborn Cloth Diaper

Image
I explained in the blog post before this one who I was skeptical on having a newborn stash, but after getting some newborn diapers that I love I understand the hype and would suggest newborn diapers to everyone, especially these! Lil Joeys are the smallest newborn diapers that we have, which means it was the first diaper to fit but it was also the first to get put away.                                                Lil Joeys are unlike any newborn cloth diaper I have ever seen. They have a unique inner double gusset which holds in that super liquidy breast fed poo.                        They also have have an umbilical cord snap down which fits perfectly under the stump which makes this the perfect first diaper for baby. The one thing Im not a huge fan of, is how naturally it curves which makes washing kinda a pain.. It folds closed so the first time I washed this, I found a little poo still on the diaper until I learned a little trick. I fold the diaper inside out and snap t

Grovia New Born All in One

Image
I always though cloth diapering a newborn was kinda silly, you spend all that money on your cloth diaper stash of one size diapers and you have to buy a full stash of newborn? It just never made any sense to me... But once I got my hands on the Grovia newborn diaper I understood the hype. One, I love the idea of baby never being in a disposable, I like that the first time a diaper goes on their little bums it will be a soft natural fiber diaper. With that being said, Grovia didn't fit right away after birth, not because of size but because the umbilical cord stump was getting covered by the diaper.                                            As you can see from the picture above, the diaper does have a one snap rise, which helps make this diaper last longer than some other newborn cloth diapers. I also like the tongue style insert! I did find that baby outgrew the absorbency before the diaper but that was easily fixed with putting a booster under the tongue insert.

Wella Elements Shampoo and conditioner

Image
I have such thin hair, so I decided to take the plunge and get keratin bounded hair extensions for my wedding. The thing about keratin is that sulfate strips it which makes the life of your extensions go way down. I started using Wella Elements shampoo and conditioner to prevent that from happening.                                             This stuff smells like pears and leaves my hair feeling so silky smooth. This will be my go to shampoo and conditioner even after I take my extensions out in December. I used to use Lush shampoo bars which I still enjoy, especially for traveling but this is everything beat out for sure!

Emergen-C

Image
After getting strep throat and a sinus infection just a few weeks before my wedding, I decide I needed to start taking something daily to help boost my immune system. I am like a child and I can not swallow pills so I turned to Emergen-C in Strawberry Kiwi flavor.  Now, I know some people think that this is medicine and will help with your flu, it does give you your daily doses of vitamin c which will help with healing but it will not make you completely better. I started taking one of these a day and I can honestly say I feel better. I never took a daily vitamin so I cant say I know how they actually affect your, but I will more energized, my overall health has definitely increased sense taking this. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor at first, it is VERY strong but the more I took it the more the I became used to it. I had to start off with using almost double the water they tell you to use because I couldn't handle how strong it was, no I use one packet with 6oz of water

Ripple Nutritious Pea Milk

Image
Ripple sent me 3 coupons for Ripples 48oz bottles. The 3 bottles I picked up for review were their Chocolate, Vanilla, and original. Ripple is dairy-free, nut free, soy free, 100% vegan, and has 8g of plant-based protein per serving.                                                                          So I am not against regular cow milks, in fact I am a huge milk drinker. But, I've been trying to make healthier choices and a very simple switch is almond milk, soy milk, and/or ripple. I've always enjoyed almond milk so I wasn't too nervous trying Ripple. Ripple is made from peas..... how cool is that?! I was shocked how delicious all of the flavors of ripple were, the one I was kinda worried about was the original flavor, I was worried for nothing. My favorite flavor was the vanilla, it paired perfectly with my smoothies that I like to make. The real test was the kid test! If picky kids enjoy this milk, then you know its a hit. Of course I didn't tell th
