4ward Thinking Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

Before I dig too deep into the review, I would like you all to check out Cheryl's (the owner of 4ward thinking) journey HERE. She is an absolutely amazingly kind woman who has an amazing story. The way she handled everything with such grace is truly admirable. From the very first email exchange with Cheryl, she has been nothing but kind and caring. I explained our situation to her and holy cow, she went above and beyond and made my husband and I two of the most beautiful diapers I have ever seen. She also sent me an adorable wet bag. :) Like I said before, she's amazing!

She found a fabric that is perfect for us! She made us two, one boy and one girl diaper. I'm not sure if she planned it this way but even the bum placement was spot on. The pink girl diaper has a pink bum, and the boy diaper has a blue bum. These are the softest, cutest, and they are the most absorbent diapers.

One of many reasons why I love these diapers are the snaps! Unlike most one size diapers that have rise snaps on the front of the diaper, these diapers fold down to show another hidden layer of snaps to adjust the diaper size. I also LOVE that the tabs of the diapers have 3 snaps on each side which allows the perfect snug fit.

Next, I want to touch on the inserts. Each diaper comes with a snap in insert as well as a booster. the inserts are made from 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton. These bad boys are bullet proof!

Each diaper had one of her business cards snapped to it with all the details of the diaper and the fabrics used. She also prewashes her diapers so you don't have to worry about shrinking and awkward fits after washing.

The above pictures is what i'm really excited about talking to you guys about. Now I didn't just want to use this for an overnight and tell you guys that it help up (which it did). I wanted to see just how much this diaper could hold before it started to leak/feel damp. I put 1TBS of water onto the diaper until I noticed the diaper started to feel damp... Are you guys ready for how much this diaper held before I started to notice the outside bum and the leg gussets started to feel damp? Just under 2.5 cups of water!! That is an insane amount of liquid. You can clearly see from the pictures above that the inserts and the bum/crotch of the diaper were not even soaked completely. I paired this diaper with a cover and it's the most absorbent, most reliable diaper in my stash!

And lastly, this is the adorable wet bag that Cheryl sent me. It's a beautiful grey with mint polka dots. I love that the outside doesn't feel like your traditional wet bag but the inside is the waterproof layer. For those of you who don't cloth diaper, you can use wet bags for so many other things besides cloth diapers.

Once again, I would like to say that Cheryl is amazing! I can not thank her enough for making me such amazing, personal diapers. She went above and beyond and it did not go unnoticed. Please, please, please go check out Cheryl's site 4ward Thinking HERE. She not only makes cloth diapers so make sure you check out EVERYTHING Cheryl has to over.
