Freshly Picked and Giveaway

Let me start by saying that i love small businesses and like to support them whenever i get a chance. Susan Peterson, who runs Freshly Picked, has two kids and with her team, makes  each pair of moccasins by hand out of her home in Utah. She is constantly working on improving her products and making sure they are "durable, well-designed" and stay on little's feet; and i love that she is a mom and uses her son as a tester. She even has a video on her blog where she encourages entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and conveys how she balances her life as a mother and a business owner. Knowing a bit of her story makes me love this company even more, and makes me want to support other companies like this.

Freshly Picked changed their packaging and I love the changes they made! They now come in a little box with a clear front so you can see the beautiful moccasins. they also have a size chart on the back which explains the what size goes with what age group. I received the B-A-N-A-N-A-S moccasins. These are my absolute new favorite design. They are gender neutral and just so adorable. Some of the bananas even have the little sticker on them like they do at the store but they say FP for 'Freshly Picked'

I'm sure i'm not the only one who has trouble putting shoes on babies/kids feet, all children i've been around typically have small chubby feet and they just love curling their tiny toes when you try and put shoes on them. The elastic on these moccasins make them snug but also allows for easy on and off. These are also the perfect shoe for walkers. Hard soles can be very difficult for early walkers, these soft sole moccasins protect little feet but allow them to walk freely as if they have nothing on. I am someone who throws moccasins on as soon as the littles are awake and dressed for the day and the dont come off until bedtime. Freshly Picked are the perfect accessory for both boys and girls. They have the best prints around and they truly hold up to even the roughest kid. I am the BIGGEST Freshly Picked fan, I will continue to purchase and support their business. Everyone should go and try a pair for yourself and see what all the hype is, I promise you, you wont regret it.

And now the question on everyone's mind: Are they worth the price? I am VERY thrifty, i love nothing more than finding amazing items on sale, or even better a consignment store!  However, i think owning a good pair of shoes is important for adults as well as littles. Freshly Picked are well made and super cute for those reasons alone i think that every baby/kid should own a pair.

It's time for another  Nadine West review.                                                                         This 3 quarter length shirt is so cute. I love the details on the front. This pairs with leggings and jeans which is perfect. The picture of this doesn't do it justice. This wine colored top has peek-a-boo shoulders. It has ruffles around the chest . Its fitted at the bottom which lays beautifully on your waist. This is my favorite top I received this month. This grey sweater was a close 2nd for me. The back has this adorable crisscross pattern that adds the perfect touch. This is also the softest sweater this month. This short sleeve shirt is so cute for not only the winter, but year round. I love the slits on top of the sleeves. It adds some simple details that takes it from a plain t-shirt to a cute one. My husband is a HUGE space buff.
